The biodegradable, extreme pressure lubricants in the TOOL-TEKTOR FOAM formulation maintain production in open and closed systems by: Bonding positively to the cutter faces Creating effective “boundary layer” lubrication Reducing tool wear Reducing torque 2:EPB Foam Effect | TOOL-TEKTOR FOAM helps to improve production and promote good EPB control by: Reducing or preventing clay clogging of TBM cutter head assemblies. Increasing shear effect in the mining operation. Promoting good flow properties in difficult spoil s. Promoting true EPB support by converting the clay and silt into a pressure regulating and transmitting medium. Minimising water consumption and dumping cost 3:Economy The high coverage and penetration, combined with the low consumption rate, make TOOL-TEKTOR FOAM much more economical in use than liqid lubricants. 4:Ideal for Mixed and Alternating Ground By using TOOL-TEKTOR FOAM you are prepared for sudden changes in ground condition. In silts, clays, mudstones etc, muck transit is rapid and smooth. In abrasive sands and rock, good lubrication is maintained. 5:Dust suppression An added bonus of using TOOL-TEKTOR FOAM is that it can reduce or eliminate nuisance dust in rock mining. 1 to 5% in water or foam solution.
