Features and Benefits EKOGEL is a muck stiffening additive for tunnelling and ground work. It helps to improve production by forming a plug in wet running ground, thus allowing dry advance. Can be maintained on site as a safe contingency option to regain control in the case of intermittent flooding of the head. Treatment varies depending o n ground properties, water content and pressure. Breaks down very rapidly - intended for use in projects where rapid recovery of stabilised geotechnical properties is required or environmentally clean spoil is essential. How to Use Treatment varies depending on ground water content and pressure. Normal range 1 to 5% of in situ muck. Contact Morrison Mud for detailed advice on using this product in your TBM. If it is not fitted with foam generating and additive dosing equipment, or you need to upgrade, we can supply and install these at low cost. Safety Biodegradable and non toxic.
